Hydraulic docking station for tank wagons for unloading bulk material

Task
Cement or cementitious material was to be unloaded from 70 tonne tank wagons via their discharge hoppers into corresponding material intake containers.

Challenge
The tank wagons were to be unloaded by gravity with as little dust as possible. For this purpose, the inlet hoppers must dock with the outlet hoppers of the tank wagon. The infeed hoppers should not only be movable in height but also longitudinally in order to always reach the exact position of the outfeed hoppers.
03.
Solution
Supply of a hydraulically operated docking station. The inlet hoppers are longitudinally movable via a rail system and adjustable in height via hydraulic cylinders in order to be able to dock with the outlet hoppers of the tank wagons. The feed hoppers are equipped with a sealing system to prevent dust from escaping.
